Comfortable, breathable chain saw chaps constructed of water- and oil-resistant nylon over nine layers of Engtex protective padding. Upon contact with a chain saw chain, the fine filaments of the Engtex fabric are drawn into the saw to obstruct the moving parts and chain. An additional 12L back flap on the lower leg provides additional protection against thorny thickets and moving saw chain. Eight interlocking leg buckles (4 on each leg) keep chaps in place. One 1-1/2 interlocking waist buckle adjusts to give you a custom fit from 30 to 42. Machine wash and dry. Chap lengths are total length not inseam. Measure from your waist to the top of your foot for correct sizing. Meets Leg Protection for Chain saw Operators enforced by OSHA Regulation 1910.266, classified by UL using ASTM Test Method F1414 in accordance with ASTM Standard F1897.
